Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and skilled extracurricular teachers to join our team and inspire students in grades K-8. This position offers the opportunity to teach a subject of your choosing, such as singing, dance, pottery, drama, golf, knitting, creative writing, or any other engaging extracurricular activity. The teacher will work with students 1-2 times per week, fostering creativity and skill development in a fun, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement engaging extracurricular lessons that align with students’ interests and abilities.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression and creativity.
Provide hands-on instruction and guidance tailored to different skill levels.
Foster a sense of community and collaboration among students.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom space.
Communicate with school staff and parents as needed regarding student progress and engagement.
Qualifications:
Experience teaching or leading activities in the chosen subject area.
Passion for working with children and fostering a love for learning.
Ability to create engaging, hands-on lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Prior teaching experience (formal or informal) is a plus but not required.
Must pass a background check.
